The age-old decision. Do I put a bag of frozen peas on my sore shoulder? Will that hot water bottle on my sore lower back help or hinder my recovery?

The truth is that using ice and heat packs are an effective, easy and cheap way of supporting pain relief and recovery. The problem lies in knowing when to use what.
